Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineering Technician VI to join our team. The role interfaces with Government technical personnel and serves as off-site lead on the FACSFAC Field Maintenance Contract supporting the NAWCAD Wolf Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Division.

The position requires extensive engineering experience, design, and modification of documents, with potential supervision of junior staff and hands-on testing of complex equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Technical School or High School Diploma with many years of experience.
• Minimum six years' experience including installation of ATC&LS equipment and engineering documents/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to plan and accomplish complex projects.
• Lead or supervise lower level technicians and supervise training as needed.
• Designs and coordinates test setups and experiments to validate designs.
• Solves design problems and ensures compatibility of design with system.
