Job summary

KBR, via its Mission Technology Solutions lineage, seeks an Engineering Technician VI to act as the primary interface with Government technical personnel and to lead on the FACSFAC Field Maintenance Contract for NAWCAD Wolf Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems Division. This on-site role demands extensive engineering experience and the ability to supervise junior technicians.

The position emphasizes hands-on design, testing, and problem solving in challenging environments, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or technical school plus 16 years' experience.
• Or a high school diploma with 20 years' experience.
• Minimum six years' experience including installation of ATC/LS equipment and engineering drawings/modification.

Responsibilities

• Applies engineering principles to independently plan and accomplish complete projects or studies of broad scope and complexity.
• Supervises or trains lower level technicians and plans designs, test setups and experiments for complex equipment.
• Arranges fabrication of pilot models and determines test procedures and special test equipment.
