Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. has an immediate need for a Senior Engineering Technician for a 6-month contract located onsite in Broomfield, CO. The role focuses on configuring lab test systems, wiring assemblies, and maintaining sophisticated vacuum and gas-handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with precision instrumentation, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with MATLAB, Minitab, and related tools to support testing and analysis activities.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on engineering experience with laboratory systems and measurement equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex instruments.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and lab software is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure laboratory test systems using CF, KF, NPT, and VCR fittings for vacuum/gas setups.
• Wire assemblies and create test cables.
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment: multimeters, signal generator, oscilloscopes, Lakeshores, vacuum pumps, gauges.
• Maintain and service equipment including compressors and turbomolecular pumps.
• Work with chilled water or liquefied gas systems as needed.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Senior Engineering Technician. This is a 06 Months contract opportunity in Broomfield, CO (Onsite).

Pay Range: $35/hr - 40/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to configure laboratory test systems using CF, KF, NPT, and VCR fittings for vacuum and gas-handling setups
• Ability to wire assemblies and create test cables
• Proficiency with equipment such as multimeters, signal generator, oscilloscopes, Lakeshores (temperature measurement), vacuum pumps, and vacuum gauges
• Ability to successfully troubleshoot problems or perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as compressors, scroll vacuum pumps, and turbomolecular vacuum pumps
• Ability to comfortably work on chilled water systems or liquefied gas systems
