Job summary

Aleron is seeking an Advanced Engineering Technician in Scottsdale, AZ, to support engineering activities for advanced mission-critical technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams, building prototypes and analyzing test data while contributing to innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, with 3+ years of experience in a technical role, and an associate degree in a relevant field. This is a contract position with additional requirements including an active Top Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an engineering technician or related technical role.
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting electrical or electro-mechanical systems.
  • Experience using fabrication tools and technical documentation.

  • Support engineering activities including design verification and testing.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Analyze test data and identify opportunities for process improvements.

What You'll Do
  • Support engineering activities including design verification, testing, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype systems
  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
  • Construct, modify, calibrate, troubleshoot, test, and adjust equipment, tools, and systems
  • Conduct and document statistically based experiments to establish process parameters
  • Analyze test data and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Design and build tooling, fixtures, and specialized equipment for engineering applications
  • Organize and evaluate data to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience as an engineering technician, electronics technician, manufacturing technician, or related technical role
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Manufacturing Technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience troubleshooting, testing, and modifying electrical, electronic, or electro‑mechanical systems
  • 3+ years of experience using fabrication tools, test equipment, and technical documentation
