Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience with product/design.
• Experience providing technical or team leadership in an engineering environment.
• Knowledge of structured product development and stage-gate processes.
• Experience with CAE/FEA, calculations, modeling, or simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design team through the new product development lifecycle from concept to release.
• Support product definition, requirements, specifications, and project scope.
• Lead concept development and evaluation of design solutions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and conduct formal design reviews.
• Provide system-level design leadership with emphasis on quality and design standards.
• Oversee design execution and ensure documentation meets quality standards.
• Develop and coordinate product validation plans.
• Maintain engineering records throughout development.
• Lead preparation for product release and commercialization.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and technical direction to team members.
• Set challenging goals and development plans for engineers.
