Bi-State Development is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Engineering to oversee consultant and contractor activities on transit-related capital projects encompassing facilities, systems, and infrastructure. You will manage project execution, field coordination, compliance, and staff oversight to ensure timely completion of project segments.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, CAD/surveying familiarity, and robust knowledge of construction laws, materials, and PM principles.

Formación

• Strong ability to read and understand project drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and other contract documents.
• Familiarity with CAD, surveying, and cost estimating concepts/tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication with stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of laws and regulations governing construction activities.
• Deep knowledge of building materials, equipment, and construction practices.
• Understanding of engineering design and project management principles.

Responsabilidades

• Meets with BSD management to advise on work activities and resolve problems affecting project completion.
• Coordinates project plans, schedules, and activities; reports delays and ensures alignment with goals.
• Prepares project correspondence, progress reports, and other field documentation with appropriate staffing.
• Reviews construction plans for adequacy and enforces standards; supports approved changes.
• Conducts field inspections to ensure contractor work complies with plans, specifications, and QA/QC plans.
• Maintains awareness of contract aspects and project progress, including schedules and completion dates.
• Coordinates with utility companies on relocation, estimates, requisitions, and payments.
• Serves as primary liaison between contractors and designers; manages field inquiries.
• Coordinates activities to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets.
• Under leadership, supports coordination and execution of capital projects.
• Develops plans for unexpected situations and emergencies; responds to changing project conditions.
