Job summary

Engtal in Chantilly, VA is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary design projects in support of federal, secure, institutional, and commercial facilities. This on-site role drives projects from scoping through closeout with senior leadership and technical teams.

The successful candidate will own project delivery, schedules, budgets, staffing, and profitability while building long-term client relationships in a technically driven environment.

Qualifications

• ABET/related bachelor's degree or 10+ years in AEC project management.
• Experience managing complex engineering, architecture, construction, or facilities projects.
• Strong understanding of schedules, budgets, staffing, and cost control.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or technical teams.
• Excellent client-facing and relationship management skills.
• Familiarity with federal government contracting and proposals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex engineering design projects from initial scoping to completion.
• Establish project teams and staffing; define scope and resources.
• Own technical delivery, schedules, budgets, and financial performance.
• Serve as primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering resources and quality control.
• Monitor profitability, invoicing, and cost controls across projects.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.
