Job summary

E Tech Group in Plano, TX is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead large projects and multiple efforts in the Mission Critical: Colocation domain. You will oversee design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning, ensuring technical, commercial, and financial success from $50K to $3.0M+.

You will guide proposals, vet cost estimates, and maintain alignment with client goals, driving profitability and on-time delivery across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 3+ years of dedicated project management experience or 5+ years in a project engineering environment.
• Proficient in the utilization of project management principles, methods, and tools.
• Ability to implement PMI based standards into the E TECH GROUP culture, and serve as a mentor to other associates.
• Proven project leadership on difficult projects, applications, solutions, and situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Proposal Development: scope, schedule, cost estimates, PMO methodology, pricing and handoff from Business Development.
• Manage Client Communication: ensure effective communication across client, project team, BD, and management.
• Develop project labor and procurement plans to meet schedule objectives and cash flow requirements.
• Maintain cost: budgets, reports, EAC, earned value, and contingency; forecast monthly costs.
• Lead the Project Team: coordinate resources with Operations and communicate progress to client and team.
