Job summary

GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) seeks an Engineering Program Leader to head the Advanced Engineering Design team for New Plant Introduction programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of next-generation nuclear projects.

You will coordinate multiple engineering disciplines, manage interfaces with partners, customers, and regulatory bodies, and translate business strategy into actionable programs while safeguarding GVH's safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related science/technical discipline.
• 8+ years of progressive engineering design and/or project leadership experience.
• 6+ years in nuclear industry or large-scale power project experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide program leadership for on-time and on-budget delivery of design product programs.
• Establish and manage technical interfaces between internal and external parties.
• Coordinate interfaces and drive timely resolution of technical issues across multiple disciplines.
• Report progress, budget, and manpower utilization with attention to delays and risks.
• Support development of business vision/strategy for new plant initiatives.
