Job summary

Apple Services Engineering (ASE) seeks an experienced Security Engineering Program Manager to lead delivery of strategic risk initiatives across the infrastructure. The role focuses on operationalizing security programs that protect customer data in Apple’s extensive environment and coordinating across multiple engineering teams in Seattle, WA.

You will translate deep threat analyses into structured plans, manage post-incident follow-through, and drive proactive risk mitigation roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an Engineering Program Manager or Technical Program Manager.
• 2+ years of experience managing projects or programs in the field of security.
• Project Management: Proficiency in managing complex projects, including defining scopes, setting timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize cross-functional security initiatives and programs requiring security domain knowledge.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources.
• Create project plans delivering clarity and alignment across teams.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to distill requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and anticipate roadblocks across the SDLC.
• Develop and communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Define and report on program health, success metrics, and active progress.
