GitLab, the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, is hiring a Senior People Business Partner, Engineering. You’ll partner with senior Engineering leaders, drive job architecture, and calibrations, and help lead a healthy, high‑performing distributed culture.

You’ll report into the PBP organization, collaborate across Talent Management and cross‑functional partners, and support leaders worldwide. This remote role requires US/EU overlap and global travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a People Business Partner or similar for engineering/technical orgs.
• Partner with senior leaders, influence decisions with data-informed guidance.
• Experience with globally distributed teams across regions including EMEA.
• Navigate change such as job architecture updates and leadership transitions.
• Strong coaching, communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn GitLab ways of working.
• Strong business acumen.

Responsabilités

• Partner with senior Engineering leaders to understand priorities and translate into people priorities.
• Drive job architecture changes and leveling for leadership paths.
• Lead and facilitate calibration processes with Talent Management.
• Advise on organization design and change management for global teams.
• Collaborate with PBPs and Talent partners to ensure a high‑quality experience.
• Use data and feedback to identify trends and improve effectiveness.
• Support Engineering offsites and forums to align priorities and decisions.
• Drive talent initiatives aligned with business outcomes.
