Job summary

Bradshaw Home, a national housewares provider, seeks a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead the engineering team and drive design/production of kitchenware and cleaning products. You will mentor staff, oversee CAD/SolidWorks-driven designs, and ensure durability with stress analyses. Hybrid work model with in-office Tue–Thu, reporting to VP of Eng. & R&D.

The role emphasizes leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and VAVE-driven optimization across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years leading engineering teams in consumer goods preferred.
• Expertise in CAD and SolidWorks is essential.
• Strong background in stress analyses.
• Experience with plastics engineering and design preferred.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with housewares/kitchenware/cleaning products advantageous.
• Experience with Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Hybrid work with in-office presence Tue–Thu.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the engineering team.
• Drive development of new kitchenware and cleaning products with high engineering standards.
• Use CAD/SolidWorks to create and refine product designs.
• Direct stress analyses to ensure durability and safety.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to implement rigorous processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
• Oversee product lifecycle from concept through production and launch.
• Support Value Analysis/Value Engineering to optimize performance and cost.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.
