Qualifications

• Must possess a Science Degree in a related field and extensive experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering considerations in the Imaging, Plating, Etching, and Soldermask areas. This includes process recommendation and modification.
• Direct role in cultivating, educating and elevating Area Process Engineers and Lab Technicians. Heavy input on evaluating the technical performances of the Area Process Engineers.
• Driving process control improvements as well as SPC initiatives to create highly capable processes.
• Leading quality improvement initiatives.
• Working with Supervisors to correct quality related issues & perform root cause analysis for process failures.
• Leading productivity, cost, safety and waste minimization enhancements within the areas.
• Conducting process / operator audits to determine if variations to the procedure have been introduced.
• Working and communicating with Vendors on issues and product considerations
• Communicating and working with Maintenance, Vendors, Production employees and the Lab / WWT on a routine basis.
• Working knowledge on the equipment in the associated departments. Must be globally proficient in all areas of the Production Process (Chemical, Mechanical and Image/Soldermask).
• Other responsibilities as required by the Director of Operations and Senior Leadership.
