Job summary

DSJ Global partnered with a leading manufacturer to recruit a Senior Engineering Manager who will lead process improvement, automation, and engineering initiatives across multiple NC sites.

The role focuses on operational excellence, new product introductions, manufacturing readiness, and standardized engineering metrics to drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance. Travel up to 30% within North Carolina is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
8+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
5+ years in engineering leadership.
Experience with ISO 9001 + IATF.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization experience.
Exposure to automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing and process engineering teams.
Drive continuous improvement, Lean, and automation initiatives.
Support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness.
Improve production efficiency, quality, capacity, and throughput.
Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain leadership.
Develop standardized processes, best practices, and engineering metrics.
