Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of Forward Deployed Engineers, owning end-to-end delivery for high-stakes projects across defense and government customers.

You will grow the team, define technical direction, and ensure repeatable delivery practices while maintaining close involvement with technology and architectures. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing leadership role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership
• Proven track record in deploying software/hardware systems to active customers
• Exceptional customer-facing skills and focus on solving customer problems
• Strong mentoring and leadership of engineering talent
• Broad technical background across software, OS, and hardware
• Experience supporting integration and deployment of complex systems
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers in end-to-end execution
• Hire and develop engineers and set technical direction
• Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers
• Own delivery outcomes across multiple concurrent programs
• Review architectures and pressure-test integration approaches
• Build repeatable delivery practices for scalable engagement
• Drive projects to completion in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
