Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Chief Forward Deployed Engineer to lead technical delivery directly with clients, shaping requirements and shipping production-ready software.

You will own projects end-to-end, weaving AI-assisted tools into everyday coding and coordinating with multiple teams to maintain alignment with business goals. You will guide architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and communicate clearly with stakeholders while adapting to changing client demands.

Qualifications

• Seven-plus years of practical software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and direct technical work without BA/Scrum Master support.
• Experience delivering full-stack solutions using .NET (C#) and Angular.
• Cloud experience with AWS.
• Hands-on coding with AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot or similar).
• Strong engagement with business audiences and independent agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical contact for clients from kickoff to completion.
• Convert business objectives into technical strategies and delivery plans.
• Guide projects from idea to production launch with minimal supervision.
• Select architecture and tools, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical work with business goals.
• Mentor engineers to elevate technical capabilities and output.
• Streamline processes to accelerate delivery while maintaining standards.
• Communicate project status and technical rationale to stakeholders in accessible language.
