Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers. You will own end-to-end delivery across multiple high-stakes engagements, representing the company with defense and government customers and ensuring quality and speed through scalable practices.

You will hire, mentor, and develop engineers, set technical direction, and stay hands-on with architectures and integration approaches.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with at least 2 years in technical leadership
• Production-grade software experience with deployed systems for active customers
• Exceptional customer-facing skills and focus on solving customer problems
• Mentor and leader of engineering talent
• Strong engineering background in CS/EE/CE fields
• Broad experience across software, operating systems, and some hardware
• Experience supporting integration and deployment of complex systems
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 8-12 Forward Deployed Engineers and scale delivery practices
• Own end-to-end project execution for high-stakes engagements
• Represent Applied Intuition with defense and government customers
• Review architectures and pressure-test integration approaches
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful outcomes
• Drive projects to completion and adapt to changing requirements
• Develop scalable, repeatable delivery methodologies
