Job summary

Systech, part of Dover Imaging & Identification, is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a multi-discipline R&D team across electrical, mechanical, AME and firmware. The role focuses on delivering connected DoD hardware and ink product lines with strong project governance and supplier engagement.

You will drive platform adoption, build roadmaps, manage budgets, and mentor staff while coordinating with global R&D leaders to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• Masters' degree in a related science field with substantial R&D experience.
• PhD holders with leadership and product development exposure are preferred.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across marketing, supply chain and quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide R&D leadership for the product line and coordinate a multi-discipline team.
• Partner with DoD cross-functional leadership to support revenue and profitability targets.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and platform strategy alignment.
• Mentor engineers, establish development plans, and drive Six Sigma quality initiatives.
