Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of consumer software development experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead two or more engineering teams responsible for ECS services at global scale across the full software lifecycle.
• Set a multi-year technical vision for ECS and translate it into quarterly/annual deliverables.
• Recruit, develop, and retain engineering talent and collaborate across AWS globally.
• Own delivery of ECS features and platform improvements for thousands of production workloads.
• Define and execute a multi-year roadmap aligned to ECS strategy and customer needs.
• Build and scale the Seattle engineering organization with strong operating rhythms.
