Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Sr. Engineering Manager - Design Quality to lead the Design Quality Assurance organization onsite in the US.

You will drive strategic plans, guide quality improvements, and mentor teams while partnering with business leaders to meet stringent defense and aerospace standards. The role requires a SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one, and relocation support is available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Leadership: develop and implement strategic quality plans and policies.
• Quality Management: direct organization-wide projects to enhance product quality and reduce COPQ and escapes.
• Data-Driven Insights: oversee collection and analysis of quality data to shape long-term strategies.
• Process Improvement: lead analyses to ensure compliance with quality standards and drive improvements.
• Talent Development: mentor teams and build a strong pipeline for future needs.
• Collaborative Partnerships: foster relationships with leaders to align quality initiatives with business goals.
• Travel 25%.
