Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Principal Design Quality Engineer in El Segundo, CA to embed quality throughout the engineering lifecycle. This onsite role requires a current SECRET clearance and may involve up to 10% travel to Fullerton, CA. relocation assistance is available.

You will ensure compliance with requirements, support audits, and coordinate with IPTs to achieve quality, cost, and schedule targets while solving complex problems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience overseeing RCCA and corrective actions.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/AS9100/AS9102).

Responsibilities

• Ensure Compliance to site, business, and contractual requirements.
• Interface with IPTs, customers, and quality teams to enable technical quality.
• Lead RCCA and FRACAS activities and monitor CoQ improvements.
