Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Customer Runtimes to lead a sizable team of engineers building scaled infrastructure for Drupal, Wordpress, and Next.js deployments. You will own roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive high-impact projects with a focus on reliability and performance.

You will guide architecture discussions, ensure delivery across multiple critical initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software development experience with senior tech leadership
• 3+ years of direct people management experience across large teams
• Track record in performance management and engineering culture
• Experience delivering multiple projects with customers/external communities
• Leading cloud and infrastructure modernization initiatives
• AI-native instincts and experience with AI coding assistants
• Strong Agile/Scrum or similar methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team through organizational changes while maintaining productivity
• Manage multiple critical projects with shifting priorities and ensure timely delivery
• Align team work with organizational strategy and goals
• Lead architecture discussions and provide constructive technical feedback
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment
