SailPoint Technologies Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering for the Enterprise Platform (US Remote). Lead senior teams delivering core backend services, APIs, and distributed systems powering the Atlas Platform.

You will partner with Product to align roadmaps, drive scalable designs, mentor engineers, and manage delivery cadence. The role demands deep backend expertise, SaaS scale, and strong architectural judgment across AWS, microservices, CI/CD, and data stores.

Qualifications

8+ years in software engineering management focused on backend services exposing APIs.
5+ years hands-on as a software engineer.
Deep knowledge of scaling SaaS products and agile processes.
Architectural fluency to discuss trade-offs with senior engineers.
Experience with microservice architecture, distributed systems, and AWS.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day operating cadence of teams: planning, prioritization, stand-ups, retrospectives.
Partner with Product Management to set direction and align roadmaps.
Engage in technical decisions and guide towards scalable, reliable solutions.
Coach and develop engineers, handle hiring and performance management.
Drive scalability, reliability, and debt reduction; set investment priorities.
Manage risk, dependencies, and cross-team commitments; resolve issues.
Allocate resources and make trade-off decisions under load.
