Role Overview:

As the Senior Engineering Manager, AI in the Artificial Intelligence group, you will lead the development of core AI/ML capabilities to enhance Splunk's product portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior members, and shape the scientific roadmap.

Responsibilities:

• Develop long-term strategies and roadmaps for AI/ML integration across products.
• Lead development of AI/ML models and algorithms for cybersecurity and observability.
• Partner with Product Leads to craft strategic visions and flexible plans.
• Stay updated with AI/ML research and incorporate advancements.
• Mentor team members and ensure accountability for progress and objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in AI/ML, including deep learning, NLP, time series, and unsupervised learning.
• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
• Leadership experience with machine learning teams.
• Experience deploying large-scale models in production.
• Strategic innovation skills at technical and organizational levels.
• Knowledge of architectural patterns for high-scale applications.
• Preferred: Experience in Cybersecurity or Observability industries.
