As the Senior Engineering Manager, AI in the Artificial Intelligence group, you will lead the development of core AI/ML capabilities to enhance Splunk's product portfolio and support our customers' digital resilience journey. You will collaborate across teams, mentor junior members, and shape the scientific roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategies and roadmaps for AI/ML integration across products.
• Lead development of AI/ML models and algorithms for cybersecurity and observability.
• Partner with product leaders to craft strategic visions and flexible plans supporting iterative learning.
• Stay updated with AI/ML research and incorporate advancements into our technology roadmap.
• Mentor team members, ensuring skill development and accountability for progress and objectives.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge and proven experience in AI/ML, including deep learning, time series, NLP, and unsupervised learning.
• Expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience managing applied scientists and engineers in machine learning teams.
• Proven ability to develop and deploy large-scale, complex models in production.
• Experience in setting innovation strategies to meet business goals.
• Familiarity with architecture patterns of large-scale applications.
• Experience in cybersecurity and/or observability industries is preferred.
