Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Accounts Engineering within the CAP organization. You will manage a roughly 8-person full-stack team, drive architectural alignment, and partner with Product and Data Science to shape the roadmap.

• 4+ years managing high-performance software development teams through multiple successful product launches.
• Strong full-stack technical background including system design and front-end depth.
• Ship it mentality with high pace, quality, and clear standards.
• Track record of building teams from the ground up, hiring, performance managing, and promoting.
• Comfort operating under pressure and turning capacity constraints into strategy.
• Metrics-oriented with data-driven decision making.
• AI-first mindset applying AI to improve team workflow and output.
• Strong communicator who makes team work visible across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-velocity, high-quality full-stack engineering team, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and promoting senior ICs.
• Orchestrate and drive alignment on the team's architectural north star, ensuring projects ladder up to it.
• Partner with Product and Data Science to define the team's roadmap and prioritize projects.
• Review, critique, and contribute to project technical planning and drive launches without surprises.
• Own the team's operational excellence: reliability, on-call health, SLAs, and day-to-day quality.
• Keep the team at the leading edge of AI-assisted engineering and push for faster AI-enabled delivery.
