Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience on production systems
• Full-stack capability across frontend and backend
• Experience with React/React Native frontend and Ruby on Rails backend
• Familiarity with AI-first development workflows and security considerations
• Maker-owner mindset with ownership of growing domains
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with product, design, compliance and operations
• Experience mentoring teammates and driving engineering excellence
• Ability to ship high-impact features in a regulated financial domain

Responsibilities

• Own meaningful slices of the product end-to-end
• Work across the full stack on high-impact features (frontend to backend)
• Design systems that handle complex data, regulation, and risk while keeping UX simple
• Lead architecture decisions and raise code quality and operational standards
• Mentor teammates and define technical strategy for the domain
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class experience
• Drive AI-enabled workflows to ship faster and more safely
