Job summary

Databricks Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the AI/BI Dashboard product. You will lead multiple engineering teams across full stack and backend, guiding AI‑enabled dashboard authoring, insights, and scale across the Databricks platform.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and drive talent, process, and technical debt decisions while balancing quality, performance and cost in a fast‑paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience managing multiple SaaS teams
• 10+ years of experience with distributed systems and building multi‑product platforms
• Experience scaling engineering teams from 15 to 35+
• Proven track record hiring, attracting and retaining top engineering talent
• Experience collaborating with PM, CS and other departments

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams (full stack/backend) and SMEs
• Oversee recruitment and talent development across teams
• Build processes to implement product vision and strategy
• Develop high-quality, operable software
