  • Implement robust risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate potential hazards, vulnerabilities, and liabilities.
  • Champion a culture of safety, ethics, and integrity throughout the organization, emphasizing the importance of responsible engineering practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in engineering leadership roles within the aerospace industry, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace systems, technologies, and regulatory requirements, with expertise in areas such as landing gear and engine components
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build consensus, and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate technical insights into actionable plans, revenue opportunities, and competitive advantages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and engineering tools and software used in aerospace design and analysis.
