Job summary

Silencerco is seeking an Engineering Machinist to lead custom part machining with high-performance materials. You will read complex engineering docs, coordinate with dimensional techs, and adapt from drawings, 3D models, or sketches.

The role advances with skill development in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of machining experience, proficiency in Solidworks and CAM tools (Espritcam, Mastercam, Featurecam), and comfort with Okuma and Mori Seiki controls.

Qualifications

• Experience with Solidworks, Espritcam, Mastercam, and Featurecam.
• Proficient in multi-axis machining and manual milling/turning.
• 4+ years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and execute engineering drawings or 3D models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and designers to ensure parts meet design intent.
• Machine parts to required dimensions with minimal supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
• Use CAM software to program efficient machining processes.
• Use CAD software to model parts and troubleshoot designs.
• Work in a production environment with attention to quality and low scrap rates.
