Job summary

Karpower, a next-generation power infrastructure company, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead development and execution of large-scale power projects in North America, including behind-the-meter energy solutions.

Based in the United States with Texas as a preferred base, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with utilities and EPC partners, ensure reliability standards, and drive successful project delivery from development through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years engineering leadership in power systems or behind-the-meter infra.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary projects from development to handover.
• Technical expertise in load flow, short circuit, protective relaying, arc flash, generator paralleling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering execution for large power projects.
• Interface with energy clients to translate requirements into solutions.
• Coordinate internal and external engineering resources and EPC partners.
• Oversee design and integration of HV/MV systems.
• Ensure reliability standards 2N, N+1 in architecture.
• Drive grid interconnection studies with utilities.
• Prepare execution strategies, schedules, budgets, risk plans.
• Provide engineering leadership during construction and handover.
