Job summary

Elevance Health in Atlanta seeks a senior Engineer Lead for Forward Deployment Group to drive end-to-end development and production readiness of enterprise platforms. You will define CI/CD, cloud patterns, observability, and security practices, partnering with Infrastructure, Security, and Cloud teams to remove blockers.

You will mentor teams, lead major projects, and ensure reliable, scalable solutions across multiple databases and technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 9+ years of experience in multidimensional platforms and business/technical applications.
• Preferred: cloud platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, containers/Kubernetes, SRE, observability, DevSecOps, and distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring teams, leading large projects, and operating enterprise services at scale.
• Strong production engineering and troubleshooting background.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and maintenance for large, enterprise-scale platforms.
• Define CI/CD, cloud environments, observability, DevSecOps, reliability, and release patterns.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, AI Platform, and CGS teams to remove blockers.
• Create reusable deployment, monitoring, and production-readiness standards.
• Maintain relationships with customers to gather requirements and review designs.
• Lead cross-team initiatives with Web/Marketing to expand product presence.
• Anticipate technology changes and keep company tech ahead of the curve.
• Own change management, technical specs, design reviews, and end-to-end impact reviews.
