Job summary

Elevance Health seeks a Principal Engineer - FDE to drive end‑to‑end application technology for enterprise platforms. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to shape architecture, define requirements, and oversee design reviews, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives across multiple products.

You will lead technical initiatives, champion standards, and guide teams through architecture, deployment, and production readiness, embedding security and observability throughout

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 11 years experience.
• Translating business problems into working production solutions from architecture through deployment and stabilization.

Responsibilities

• Establish the overall applications architecture vision across multi-product environments.
• Recommend new technology solutions aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Define business requirements with stakeholders.
• Oversee development and delivery of technical and/or functional specs.
• Lead architectural design reviews to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Guide IT Business Transformation architecture strategy and vision.
• Ensure security, privacy, compliance, and observability are embedded from day one.
• Create reusable enterprise capabilities from field delivery learnings.
