Job summary

Sero Search is partnering with a leading Tier 1 Automotive Supplier to recruit an Engineering Manager based in Indiana. You will lead the plant's engineering function across manufacturing and product engineering, and own major equipment investments and capital projects.

You'll manage and develop a team of engineers, drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, safety and delivery, and own product and process launches from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Engineering leadership experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong grounding in manufacturing and process engineering.
• Experience leading product and process launches.
• Proven track record improving site performance.
• Lean, Kaizen, and 5S experience.
• Degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading the plant engineering function across manufacturing, and product engineering
• Managing and developing a team of engineers and technical staff
• Driving continuous improvement across quality, cost, safety, and delivery
• Owning new product and process launches from concept through to production
• Improving throughput, efficiency, and equipment reliability across the site
• Leading capital projects, tooling, and equipment investment
• Partnering with operations, quality, and corporate teams to hit the business plan
• Championing Lean, Kaizen, and 5S activity across the floor
