Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Software Development for Ads Performance Measurement in Seattle. You will lead 30–50 engineers across multiple teams, building systems that measure ad performance across channels, devices, and the customer journey.

This role blends big‑data engineering, applied science, and advertiser‑facing product delivery. You will Own architectural direction, partner with scientists to translate research into production, and drive AI‑native practices to accelerate velocity

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of engineering team management experience.
10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Lead 30–50 engineers across multiple teams and own petabyte-scale data pipelines.
Architect and operate real-time and batch attribution systems and experimentation infrastructure.
Set technical direction and multi‑year strategy with senior leadership.
Partner with scientists to translate research into production‑grade systems and scale AI‑native development.
Drive prioritization, build‑vs‑buy decisions, and operational excellence for mission‑critical systems.
