Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and four years of engineering technical support experience.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of county, state and federal laws, codes and regulations applicable to the field.
• Ability to interpret complex technical plans, permits, and inspection results for compliance.
• Experience with CMMS and record-keeping in engineering/maintenance contexts.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages the Regulatory Agency inspection process and interprets complex regulatory requirements.
• Develops and maintains a monthly schedule of inspections and tests, coordinating follow-up actions with agencies, contractors, and staff.
• Reviews and approves contractor proposals, cost estimates, and invoices for inspection-related work.
• Oversees corrective actions for failed inspections and schedules re-inspections.
• Maintains accurate inspection records in CMMS and other systems; ensures final resolution of work orders.
