Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Sr. Advanced Engineering Support Specialist to drive documentation and configuration control for navigation and sensor projects.

You will work with engineers, CM analysts and quality staff to ensure accurate, compliant records and findings. Responsibilities include validating drawings, managing engineering change notices, editing reports in MS Word, and mentoring junior staff on documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with quality standards, regulatory requirements and process improvements.
• 5+ years in configuration management, document control, or technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Copyedit and format technical reports and procedures in MS Word.
• Validate documents against engineering drawings and 3D models.
• Review configuration data and released documents in Teamcenter.
• Verify revisions align with configuration baselines.
• Flag discrepancies between docs and released data.
• Recommend improvements to document control processes and templates.
• Collaborate with engineers, CM analysts, and quality personnel to resolve issues.
• Mentor junior staff on documentation standards and validation checks.
