Job summary

Jobot seeks a Director of Software Engineering for a large, well-established California bank. You will own the engineering roadmap, drive technical strategy, and scale cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing financial products and digital services.

Reporting to the CIO, you will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensure high quality, security, and performance, and align initiatives with the bank's technology vision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering roadmap and execution.
• Lead design, development, and delivery of customer-facing financial products and digital services.
• Scale high performing engineering teams to support growth ambitions.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle with emphasis on quality, scalability, and security.
• Align engineering initiatives with the technology vision of the bank.
