Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Communications Strategist to partner with engineering leaders, product teams, and exec stakeholders to craft narratives that elevate Oracle’s technology leadership.

You’ll translate complex AI and cloud concepts into clear, compelling stories for customers, developers, media, and employees, shaping messaging, content, and campaigns across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in communications, corporate communications, product marketing, technical writing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing executive communications, strategic messaging, and storytelling for senior leaders.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Experience partnering with engineering, product, or other technical teams in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating strategic storytelling, technical writing, campaign messaging, or executive communications.
• 8+ years of experience in communications, storytelling, content strategy, product marketing, journalism, public relations, or executive communications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies that support engineering, product, and corporate priorities.
• Translate complex technical concepts—including AI, cloud infrastructure, platforms, and emerging technologies—into clear, compelling narratives.
• Create messaging frameworks, executive narratives, and storytelling strategies that align across internal and external channels.
• Partner with engineering executives and technical teams to identify innovation stories, customer impact, and thought leadership opportunities.
• Write and edit high-impact communications materials including blogs, executive talking points, keynote content, customer stories, presentations, social posts, white papers, FAQs, newsletters, and organizational updates.
• Drive editorial consistency and message alignment across product marketing, communications, analyst relations, social, and leadership communications teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, marketing, HR, and executive leadership to support launches, organizational initiatives, and strategic programs.
• Help shape Oracle’s voice in technical storytelling by bringing a human-centered, customer-focused perspective to engineering innovation.
• Manage communications plans, timelines, and stakeholder reviews across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Measure communications effectiveness and continuously optimize messaging, engagement, and reach.
