Job Description Summary:

The Senior Engineering and Permitting Manager (Midwest Region) is responsible for overseeing all engineering and permitting activities for SOLV Energy projects in the Midwest.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage engineering and permitting teams, including consultants and internal staff.
• Coordinate project deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, permits, and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
• Review and approve engineering designs, proposals, and scope of work.
• Lead preconstruction site walks and coordinate with product manufacturers.
• Manage all engineering and permitting documentation and deliverables.
• Represent SOLV Energy in meetings with clients and authorities.

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in solar engineering or management.
• Minimum 5 years of regional experience in the Midwest.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal permitting processes and codes.

Compensation Range:

$126,837.00 - $168,693.00
