Job Overview

The Senior Engineering and Permitting Manager (Midwest Region) is responsible for overseeing all engineering and permitting activities for SOLV Energy projects in the Midwest region, ensuring compliance and project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering management across multiple projects in the region
• Manage and coordinate with engineering consultants and internal teams
• Ensure adherence to all project design, permitting, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and maintain relationships with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables related to engineering and permitting
• Review proposals, scope of work, and manage changes impacting project scope and budget
• Represent SOLV Energy in meetings with clients, consultants, and AHJs

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in solar engineering or management
• Minimum 8 years managing teams
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and EIT certification preferred
• Knowledge of regional building codes, permitting processes, and civil/electrical/structural plans
