Job Summary:

The Senior Engineering and Permitting Manager (Midwest Region) oversees all engineering management for projects in the Midwest region for SOLV Energy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering and permitting deliverables for all projects in the region
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants (Electrical, Structural, Civil, Geotechnical Engineers, and Surveyors)
• Ensure compliance with project, owner, and permit requirements
• Review and approve engineering designs, proposals, and scope of work
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Develop and maintain relationships with AHJs and oversee permitting processes
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings and with regulatory agencies

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in Solar Engineering or Management, with 5+ years in the Midwest region
• 8+ years of team management experience
• PE license and EIT certification preferred
• Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and permit processes
