Job summary

Constellation is seeking an experienced engineer to perform advanced technical problem solving in support of power plant operations. You will make technical decisions, mentor engineers, and manage engineering tasks with rigorous adherence to codes and standards.

The role involves independent research, analysis, and recommending improvements to reduce costs and enhance performance. Candidates should have a technical degree and substantial related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 6 years of related industry experience.
• Associate's degree in a technical discipline with 8 years of related industry experience.
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of power or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of Power plant operations.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Provide initial or complete task management of engineering issues.
• Perform engineering tasks applying general engineering principles as assigned by supervision.
• Ensure configuration management and use of standard design criteria in plans and specs.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies and analyses for technical projects.
• Recommend equipment, concepts and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Support outage activities and cross-department duties as required.
