Constellation Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support power plant operations as a technical expert and decision-maker. You will lead engineering analyses, mentor colleagues, and ensure adherence to codes and safety standards in a dynamic energy production environment.

The role emphasizes expertise in electrical controls, DCS/PLC systems, and medium/high voltage work, with opportunities to influence both short- and long-term plant programs and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7 years of technical or related engineering experience.
• Familiarity with NERC standards and industry codes.
• Field engineering experience at electrical power plants or similar industrial settings.
• Experience with electrical controls and protection devices and philosophy.
• Medium and high voltage installation, maintenance, and testing experience.
• DCS and PLC familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; act as a subject matter expert on equipment and systems.
• Directly fulfill engineering leadership for short- and long-term programs impacting site operations.
• Perform engineering tasks using sound engineering principles.
• Ensure accurate documentation, configuration management and adherence to standards.
• Conduct independent research and analyses to support projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Support outage activities and cross-functional collaboration as needed.
