Job summary

Google seeks a seasoned data analysis and trust & safety specialist to drive insights, quantify risks, and mentor junior team members across Google products. You will work globally with engineers and product managers to identify abuse and fraud at Google speed with urgency.

The Content Adversarial Red Team (CART) role requires collaboration to design scalable adversarial testing, using ML techniques and familiar languages. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Inform and lead development of red teaming methodologies and scalable solutions.

• Deliver analytic insights based on innovative and complex red teaming exercises that help uncover content abuse risks. Inform and lead the creation and refinement of net new red teaming methodologies, strategies and tactics.
• Help mature red teaming capabilities by designing and implementing technical solutions in collaboration within and across the team that provide optimized approaches that help support and scale adversarial testing.
• Contribute to project scoping, design, and functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy, to drive the implementation of strategic safety initiatives. Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on complex content safety issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
• This role works with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and/or upsetting topics or content.
