Job summary

Google is seeking a data analytics and trust & safety professional to join the Content Adversarial Red Team (CART). You will identify and analyze content abuse risks, design red teaming approaches, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy teams to implement safety initiatives.

Your work helps safeguard users across Google products, including Search, Maps, Gmail, and Ads, with a focus on scaling adversarial testing and delivering actionable insights to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Master's degree.
  • 5 years of experience or familiarity with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.
  • 5 years of experience or familiarity with machine learning systems.
  • Experience with Generative AI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver analytic insights based on innovative and complex red teaming exercises that help uncover content abuse risks. Inform and lead the creation and refinement of net new red teaming methodologies, strategies and tactics.
  • Help mature red teaming capabilities by designing and implementing technical solutions in collaboration within and across the team that provide optimized approaches that help support and scale adversarial testing.
  • Contribute to project scoping, design, and functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Research, and Policy, to drive the implementation of strategic safety initiatives. Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on complex content safety issues, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • This role works with sensitive content or situations and may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and/or upsetting topics or content.

Job description

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.


US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
