Qualifications

• Legal Authorization to Work: US citizens, nationals, permanent residents or eligible for unrestricted employment in the United States.
• Professional License: valid State of Hawaii Professional Engineer license at the time of application.
• Basic Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Engineering Experience: four years of progressively responsible professional engineering experience, at least one year at Engineer V level.
• Supervisory or Staff Advisory Experience: one year of supervisory or staff advisory experience.
• Driver's License: possession of a valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
• Substitutions Allowed: substitutions described in minimum qualification requirements apply.

• Develop procedures and standards for the organization’s engineering work.
• Represent the organization on technical engineering matters within area of specialization.
