Venture Global LNG is seeking a Senior Piping Stress Engineer to join our project team in Cameron, LA. You will own the piping scope for CP2, drive schedules and budgets, and coordinate across project managers, engineers, and clients to meet scope objectives.

The role requires 10+ years in piping layout and stress analysis in petrochemicals, with at least 3 years in leadership, and strong knowledge of ASME, ANSI, API codes and Cesar II.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Piping Stress Engineer to join our project team in Cameron, LA.

This position is based out of our Calcasieu Pass LNG 2 (CP2) facility located in Cameron, Louisiana.

This position will report to the Director of Engineering

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the entire piping scope on CP2 projects

Qualifications

Required experience

• 10+ years of experience in piping layout,designandpipe stress analysisin the petrochemical industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiencyin design review software likeSmartPlantReview and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API, and PIP).
• Proficiencyin material identification andselection.
• Strong knowledge of Cesar II and pipe stress analysis reports for all common systems of piping.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with construction and installation practices.
• Understandingproject management principles

Preferred Experience

• Experience with LNG projects
• Strong knowledge of AIV and FIV principles and screening
• Proficiencyin development of piping material class specifications
• Strong knowledge in NDE and testing requirements of piping systems
• Proficiencyin development of piping material class specifications
• Proficiencyin valve application and specification
• Experience with international projects and multicultural teams

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (preferred)
