Job summary

Durango Casino & Resort in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician responsible for repairing and maintaining the property's systems, supporting operations, and addressing internal and guest-related issues promptly to minimize disruption.

Candidates must have at least 5 years HVAC and Central Plant experience, be able to read blueprints and technical drawings, read schematics, and demonstrate proficiency in two trades or Master level in one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years HVAC and Central Plant experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematic drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ability to read and carry job related equipment.
• Proficient in two building trades or Master level in one specific trade.
• Must have a valid Nevada driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to maintain property operations and prevent downtime.
• Respond to guest and internal/external complaints promptly and efficiently.
• Familiarize self with all systems throughout the property.
• Train less experienced Team Members.
• Maintain tools and maintenance equipment; formulate bill of materials for tasks.
• Comply with OSHA safety codes for chemicals and electrical equipment.
• Pickup supplies and parts from vendors.
• Assess and adjust preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment life.

Job description

Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos' \"We Win Hearts\" culture. Makes all necessary repairs to maintain the properties operations. Responds to all internal and external Guest complaints promptly and efficiently to avoid Guest inconvenience or discomfort. Becomes thoroughly familiar with all systems throughout the property. Responsible for training less experienced Team Members. Maintains all tools and maintenance equipment. Formulate bill of materials to accomplish assigned tasks. Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding chemicals and electrical equipment. Pick up supplies and parts from vendors. Perform all repairs, maintenance and part replacements. Continually assess the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure equipment longevity.
