Job Summary

Fishbeck is seeking a Senior Engineer or Project Manager to join our growing Parking Department. The qualified applicant must have experience in design and project management for architectural, civil, parking, or structural engineering projects. The position involves parking structure design, evaluation and restoration of existing structures, and project management.

Primary Functions

1. Participate in and potentially lead a multi-discipline design team for parking structures and mixed-use buildings, from concept to construction documents.
2. Lead and coordinate a project team within the Parking Department.
3. Coordinate construction administration efforts.
4. Manage project design schedules, staffing, and budgets across multiple projects.
5. Communicate project progress and technical aspects with clients, owners, and stakeholders.
6. Assist with condition assessments and restoration designs for parking structures, including structural evaluations, cost estimates, report writing, and construction documents.
7. Help prepare proposals, define scope, and establish project fees.

Desired Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering

Desired Skills/Experience

• At least 10 years of architectural or engineering consulting experience preferred.
• Experience leading small design teams.
• Knowledge of parking structures or industry is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
